Portrait of Imir Frazer

Imir Frazer

Imir’s lifelong passion for health and movement began in 2000 with the discovery of yoga—a practice that quickly became a profound part of her life. Drawn to explore beyond the physical, she immersed herself in Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Philosophy to gain a deeper understanding of all eight limbs of yoga. In 2010, teaching naturally became her path, allowing her to share the wisdom and transformative power of yoga with others. Registered as an E-RYT500 with Yoga Alliance, Imir founded the Parampara School of Yoga in 2017, guiding hundreds of students on their journeys to becoming confident, authentic teachers. Her classes integrate a strong meditative focus with a deep curiosity for body mechanics and mindful movement. She enjoys helping each student understand their unique structure and safely navigate even the most complex postures, cultivating strength, balance, and awareness. Known for her light-hearted, inclusive, and intuitive teaching style, Imir creates classes that are both playful and profound—inviting exploration, focus, and a sense of unity. Through each practice, she encourages students to move beyond form, tuning body and mind toward greater presence, clarity, and connection.
