Class Description

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that invites you to pause, breathe, and release into stillness. Unlike more active yoga styles, Yin focuses on long-held, passive poses—typically between three to five minutes—designed to gently stress the deeper connective tissues, fascia, ligaments, and joints. Each posture is an opportunity to cultivate patience and inner awareness. As you settle into the shapes, supported by props where needed, you'll notice layers of tension begin to soften—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. This practice: ▪️Increases flexibility and joint mobility ▪️Stimulates the flow of energy through the body's meridian lines ▪️Calms the nervous system and reduces stress ▪️Encourages mindfulness and present-moment awareness ▪️Complements more dynamic movement practices Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners seeking a gentle entry point into yoga, to experienced practitioners looking to balance an active lifestyle with restorative stillness. Come as you are—there is nothing to achieve, only space to simply be.
