Jaquline Hannam

Grounded. Insightful. Nurturing.

Jacquie originally trained as an Akhanda Yoga teacher — a holistic and classical Hatha tradition meaning “indivisible, whole, unbroken.” Her classes weave together asana, pranayama, mantra, yogic philosophy, deep relaxation, and meditation, offering a complete practice for body, mind, and spirit. With over 45 years of experience exploring health and wellness through a yogic and Ayurvedic lifestyle, Jacquie has developed a deep appreciation for the power of these ancient practices to restore balance and vitality. Having faced early life health challenges and the pressures of a demanding corporate career in fashion, yoga became her anchor — a practice that strengthened her both physically and mentally while nurturing self-awareness and acceptance. Drawing on her understanding of Ayurveda, nutrition, and mind-body balance, Jacquie helps others discover what supports their own unique constitution. Her approach encourages students to be playful yet grounded, open yet strong — cultivating equilibrium, peace, and inner joy. Jacquie loves to hold space for exploration across different yoga traditions, guiding her students to connect with the deeper essence of practice — to let go, find stillness, and experience the true bliss of being present. Teaches: Hot Slow Down Sundays on Sundays 5 - 6:15 PM.
