Fatma Miotti
Fatma is a passionate, bright and generous teacher who has always had a love for health, nutrition and fitness. She has practised yoga her entire adult life but her deeper yogic journey began during her first pregnancy in 2007. Then, after the birth of her third child in 2012, she felt yoga fuelling her mind, body and soul much more than intense gym sessions. With a background in teaching (as a secondary school teacher and Head of English) the transition from teaching English to teaching yoga - which started in 2018 - felt smooth and fulfilling. She very much believes that every teacher is also always a student. She loves music and uses eclectic playlists to deepen her yoga classes. Her Yin sessions often close with the angelic frequencies of the crystal alchemy bowls and/or crystal lyre, which she plays with sensitivity and emotion. Her classes are strong yet slow so that both softness and serenity can be found amongst the strength; devoted to ‘sthira-sukham asanam’. Fatma’s love of poetry and literature means she often includes readings at the end of her classes, which close with a deeply nourishing Savasana. Teaches: Mandala Vinyasa Open on Mondays 8 - 9 AM, Hot Rocket on Fridays 6:30 - 7:30 AM, Hot Yoga Flow 2 on Saturdays at 8 - 9 AM
